Passive Fire Project Manager Location: West Sydney $$ Package based on experience We are seeking an experienced Passive Fire Closer for our client who is a well-established and reputable Fire Protection business.
This role is critical in helping them grow the Passive Fire and Fire Damper division by identifying, quoting, and closing new work.
The business is already a leader in the Passive Fire space and has a robust team for support, training, and mentoring.
You will be responsible for generating and winning new work opportunities.
This is not a BDM role, but it does require industry expertise and the ability to take ownership of both technical and management responsibilities.
The candidate will have a strong background in passive fire protection, experience in quoting jobs, and a proven track record in winning and generating their own revenue source and successfully managing projects.
Key Responsibilities: New Work Identification: Proactively identify potential opportunities for passive fire and fire damper work.
Quoting: Prepare accurate quotes for new and existing projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant Australian standards and regulations.
Project Management: Manage passive fire projects in conjunction with site project managers and leading hands from initial scoping to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
Client Liaison: Communicate directly with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction.
Win and Bring in Work Compliance: Strong knowledge of Australian standards and systems.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the broader team to ensure smooth project execution and support technician-level staff as required.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all project-related activities, including reports, certifications, and invoicing documentation.
Skills and Experience: Extensive experience in passive fire protection and fire dampers.
Ability to find and quote new work within the industry.
Project management experience, including managing timelines, resources, and budgets.
Strong knowledge of Australian standards and fire safety regulations.
Excellent communication and client management skills.
Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Relevant industry qualifications in passive fire protection (preferred).
