The OpportunityTo accommodate for our continued growth throughout 2024 and beyond, we are currently on the lookout for a Parts Specialist who is ambitious to provide high quality services to our largest client.Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing the storage and distribution of bus and truck parts to our Marcoola depot with the objective of supporting their Maintenance team with keeping Kinetic's entire fleet in the best condition possible.Please be aware that for this position, the schedule is divided between our two depots: 3 days allocated for Marcoola and 2 days designated for Caloundra, though this arrangement may vary based on site needs.What You Can ExpectReceipt and dispatch new and/or repairable stock items for depotsConduct regular stock-takes and cyclic counts to maintain stock levels at an efficient level based on depot trendsRaise purchase orders as required ensuring compliance with the purchasing policyLiaise with internal and external suppliers as required on stock issuesMaintain an overview of stock levels in the depot/s and analyse trends for stock efficiencyIdentify obsolete and surplus stock in the depot/s, and assist the Fleet Manager, with removal or saleMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of receipted and dispatched stock at depots to meet operational requirementsManage warranty of parts to replace or recoup costs for depotsPick-up and deliver parts to depots as requiredThe Boxes You'll TickExperience in warehousing, distribution, or logistics is preferredExperience in parts supply and management is preferredMinimum full Car licence (Medium Rigid licence or higher is preferred)Strong computer literacy and administration skills with the ability to learn internal systemsAbility to prioritise and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentWhat We OfferA competitive annual salary of $75,000 will be offered based on experience and qualifications.We are linked with Australasia's leading mass transit bus operator and are rapidly growing.We have a diverse, inclusive, and supportive work environment that enables you to succeed.We care for our people and provide an Employee Assistance Program which includes wellbeing support, financial and nutritional coaching, counselling, and legal advice.Secure and long term employment with genuine career progression opportunities.We have free on-site car parking available for all employees.About UsAustralian Bus and Truck (ABT) specialises in supplying an extensive range of bus and truck parts for the transport industry across Australia.
