We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable part-time bookkeeper to join our team and help manage our financial records efficiently.
Job Summary: The Part-Time Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with financial reporting.
The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and experience with MYOB AccountRight.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow.
Posting of month end journals including payroll (externally processed), fixed assets, sales & debtors.
Prepare monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements & variance analysis.
Collaborate with the management team to support financial decision-making.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Handle other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
Proficiency in MYOB Account Right.
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Schedule:
Flexible part-time hours, approximately 10 hours/week.
