We are currently seeking a highly experience Paramedic or Advanced/ Intensive Care Paramedic for a Paramedic Reliever position. This role provides services to leading resource companies throughout Western Australia and the Northern Territory with the backing of training and support from the RFDS.
The Reliever will provide relief for planned and unexpected leave (FIFO on various rosters). When this role is not covering leave it will provide support to our Industrial Health Lead with a variety of duties (based in Jandakot).

About the role: Provide clinical coverage for any planned and unplanned leave, and other possible roster gaps to the various resources, sites throughout WA and Darwin (FIFO offshore and onshore oil and gas, mining, and exploration).Mobilisation to new sites to support the setup and establishment of these sites.Provide initial emergency response, stabilisation, and transportation/ medevac of critically ill or injured patients.Provide primary health care and treatment of non-emergency medical conditions.Participate in HSE activities, tasks and training.Coordinate and deliver on-site drug and alcohol testing.General clinic administration management and reporting duties.Office duties supporting the Industrial Health Lead and Paramedic Educator. About you: Located or willing to relocate to Perth.Current AHPRA Registration (Unrestricted).Minimum 3 years of on-road ambulance experience post qualification.Previous experience in the provision of general primary healthcare in a non-hospital environment in a remote environment. Day to day operations of worksite based medical service operations. Advanced Life Support Course (ALS) or equivalent, or willing to obtain. AOD Testing certification or willing to undertake.TBOSIET or willing to obtain. MSIC or willing to obtain. Desirable: Certificate IV Healthcare (Ambulance) or equivalent.Experience in return-to-work programs and mental health support.Experience in hydration testing.4WD - Operate & Maintain certification or willing to undertake.Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) or Early Management of Severe Trauma (EMST). Current certificate of completion for HESA Accredited Immunisation Training or able to obtain. Minimum 7 years on-road and 3 years intensive care experience (essential for ICP applicants).Graduate Certificate in Critical Care – preferred or equivalent experience (essential for ICP applicants).
