Panel Member – Major Events, Festivals And Films Sponsorship Panel

We have an exciting opportunity for community members/industry representatives to join the Major Events, Festivals and Films Sponsorship Panel in which you will assist and participate in a selection process of applications to receive funding support for their event, festival, or film.
Duties of this position will include but are not limited to: The main functions of the Panel are to: Assesses applications based on the eligibility and assessment criteria outlined in Major Events, Festivals and Films Sponsorship selection criteria.
Recommend eligible applications for Council endorsement to receive sponsorship funding as part of the Major Events, Festivals and Films sponsorship fund.
What you will need to succeed: Understanding of the role of the panel and details that you consider to be relevant to the role.
Demonstrated involvement with community networks and/or events.

Assessment of applications will be conducted in accordance with Council's Appointment of organisation community and individual citizen members to Council Committees Policy(POL 117) and reported to Council for consideration and appointment of Committee members in January 2025.
This is a voluntary non-remunerated position with three position available.
