Working in a team of 4, you will be supporting the Overnight Assistant Manager and Front Office Manager to manage the overnight operations of the hotel in order to achieve our purpose.
ResponsibilitiesHandle all arrival and departure recordsPerform cashiering duties as required concerning foreign currency exchange, payments, charges and checking outHandle guest enquiries and requests and have a thorough knowledge of Melbourne and its surrounding areasAssist in maintaining a high level of security for guests, staff and hotel property and be fully conversant with all emergency procedures.Ensure that all public and back-of-house areas are maintained to the specified levels of cleanliness, maintenance and presentation and instigate appropriate action when necessaryQualificationsPrevious work experience in a similar fast-paced hotel operations or reservations environmentExceptional interpersonal, communication and time management skills with a strong ability to multi-taskSuperior customer service skills along with excellent service resolution skillsThe capability of working both autonomously and as part of a teamThe ability to create a positive first impression with an understanding of the importance of 5 star grooming standardsThe flexibility to work on a rotating 24/7 roster, including public holidaysJoin us at Hyatt and make travel more human.
