About Our Client: A leading entrepreneurial contractor is seeking a well-rounded Project Manager from the fitout/shopfitting sector to join the team.
Overview
This is a great opportunity to join a contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality commercial offices, retail, and hospitality fitout projects. They're seeking a hands-on Project Manager with a carpentry background who ideally has worked as a site manager and understands the day-to-day challenges in the job.
You will be equally comfortable wearing a tool belt and helping out on-site as you will be working on tenders and managing budgets. To be considered, you will have worked on projects with suspended ceilings, structures, and live site environments and be able to read drawings and understand the building code.
Key Points:

Offices, retail, and hospitality refurb and fit-out project experience.
Forecast and manage project budgets.
We're seeking a 'hands-on' PM who can work on site if needed.
Ensure quality process and delivery across all of your projects.
Managing RFI's to clients, architects, and consultants.
Procurement including scope of works & complete tender packages.

Requirements

A track record in delivering fitout projects up to $5m.
An ability to manage a programme and schedule and sequence trades.
Experience in Hammertech, Procore, or similar.
Ability to drive the project forward.
First-class stakeholders management skills.
A trade or tertiary qualification in construction.
