Where you'll be workingWestern Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. What you'll be doingTo influence and develop both leadership and organisational capacity and capability across WSLHD to cultivate a culture that enhances the organisation’s ability to effectively meet patient, carer and community service needs. To contribute to the building of a culture of learning and development across the Local Health District.

Please note:To be eligible for permanent appointment to a position in NSW Health, you must have an Australian citizenship or permanent Australian residency.Selection Criteria:Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in Organisational Development, Leadership and Management, Human Resource Development, or related field.Extensive knowledge of leadership development practices and principles as well as knowledge of contemporary issues in leadership and talent development.Demonstrated skill in the analysis of complex issues, problem solving, formulating new approaches and implementing comprehensive human development and change programs and improvement strategies, including the ability to develop and monitor outcomes to strategic and business plans.Demonstrated experience in the design, development, delivery and evaluation of leadership, management and culture change development programs and initiatives.High level facilitation, presentation, 360 degree feedback debriefing and coaching skills that model a culture of learning, experience andor accreditation in LSI and DISC psychometrics tools.Demonstrated successful experience in culture, leadership andor management capability development program management, with a proven record of achievement and leadership in a complex organisation in a healthcare setting.Demonstrated experience working with senior executives, clinicians and managers within a large complex environment, with a proven track record in building rapport and establishing trust.Highly developed communication, interpersonal and influencing skills, with demonstrated high level negotiation skills and commitment to customer service.
