About the role: Siemens is seeking a meticulous and proactive Order Management Operator to join our Bayswater team.
This role involves end-to-end responsibility for customer orders, from processing and expediting sales orders to addressing debtor queries and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including Account Managers, Sales Managers, and Technical Sales Teams, to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
This is a 6 month fixed term contract.
Key Responsibilities: Order Processing: Create and manage sales orders, ensuring accuracy in materials, pricing, stock, and freight.
Send order confirmations to customers and generate delivery dockets. Customer Interaction: Handle inbound calls and voicemails promptly, providing regular updates on order and backorder status. Invoicing: Perform manual invoicing and resolve any open billing issues before month-end. Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with freight forwarders, factories, and warehouses to ensure timely delivery and communicate ETAs to customers. Order Administration: Manage customer returns, stock allocations, debtor queries, and close open purchase orders. Compliance: Adhere to the Trade Practices Act, Business Conduct Guidelines, and company policies. Process Improvement: Streamline processes and support implementation of improvement initiatives. To be successful, you will have: Minimum of 3 years in order management, logistics, or a related role.
Proficient in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Office Suite. Strong organisational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
