Educates students and patients by giving oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative instructions. Assists in encouraging students and patients to make an active change to their oral care with the aid of ATSICHS approved oral health educational material.DutiesProvide quality oral health assessment, diagnosis and treatment services to clients.Contribute to a positive and safe working environment with a wide variety of professionals and the public to achieve results consistent with workplace values.Understanding of the principles of oral health care and evidence-based practice.Commit to a high level of quality management for ATSICHS through use of LogiQC quality management systems.Customer focus.Demonstrated competence in the use of clinical software systems and other technology, the internet and desktop applications e.g. Outlook, EXACT, LogiQC, Word, spreadsheets.Commit to ongoing continuous quality improvement processes with annual reviews into the efficiency of clinical service provision.Cultivate productive working relationships at all levels, which support the nurturing of internal and external relationships, facilitates cooperation, trust and respect, values differences and diversity and guides, mentors and focuses on the development of staff.CultureEnjoy working in an organisation that makes a difference in the community.
