Congress has expanded to become the largest Aboriginal community-controlled health organisation in the Northern Territory and is one of the most experienced Aboriginal primary health care services in the country.
Congress provides a comprehensive, holistic and culturally-appropriate primary health care service to Aboriginal people living in and nearby Alice Springs, including five remote communities. It is a strong political advocate of closing the gap on Aboriginal health disadvantage and a national leader in improving health outcomes for all Aboriginal people.

Building upon recommendations stemming from a comprehensive situational analysis conducted by a respected consultant optometrist in 2023, you'll be presented with a unique opportunity to deliver essential eye care services to those most in need. Your role will ensure that every member of our community has access to top-tier vision care, promoting overall health and quality of life.

Position includes occasional travel for outreach to remote communities.
