Utilise your team leadership and collaboration expertise to provide support and advice to the Civil and Enforcement Services branch.Fixed-Term (until 31/12/2025), Full-Time opportunity to work with a high-performing and passionate team in the Victorian Public Service.About Us: Enforcement and Support Services (ESS) plays a crucial role in the Department of Justice and Community Safety by managing the enforcement and administration of infringement and court fines across the state, ensuring the system runs smoothly and that all relevant policies are implemented consistently. ESS forms part of Civil and Enforcement Services which sits within the Courts, Civil and Criminal Law division. In addition to its core responsibilities, ESS manages a range of social justice initiatives such as the Work and Development Permit Scheme, the Family Violence Scheme and the Time Served Scheme, all aimed at supporting vulnerable individuals who are impacted by infringement or court fines.
About the Role: The Operations Team Lead will work directly within ESS, contributing to its vital role in shaping the future of enforcement and support services in Victoria.
The role involves:
Leading and managing the operational service team and delivery requirements and processes against key performance indicators, and report on activities and outputs.Collaborating and providing specialist advice and support to stakeholders to achieve strategic and business plan goals and objectives.Identifying, developing and advocating innovative solutions to resolve complex, high-level issues impacting on FV operations.About You: As an ideal candidate, you will possess:
Demonstrated experience providing professional, technical or specialist advice based on knowledge on Infringements Act 2006 and the Fines Reform Act 2014 or similar legislation.Demonstrated experience leading teams in a legislative or similar environment.Demonstrated capacity to lead teams and understand and apply legislation, procedures, guidelines and policies to decision making.Qualifications: A relevant tertiary degree or other qualifications in business or leadership or commensurate relevant experience is desirable.How to Apply: Please click the Apply button on this advertisement.
