An interesting opportunity for an experienced Transport Coordinator to progress to Transport Supervisor.
What you will enjoy doing You are able to plan and manage labor resources to meet the day-to-day service level targets, and exceed customer expectations Coordinate the dispatch of trucks, drivers, and shipments to ensure on-time deliveries and pickups Strong focus on safety and ensure all drivers and operational staff follow OHS and site safety requirements You promote a customer first mindset and ensure the daily operation is maximizing profitability by effective use of resources available Maintain clear and effective communication with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
Address any issues or delays promptly to minimize disruptions What makes you great You have previous experience within a similar role within LPG/Petroleum or Chemical Industry An analytical mind-set - strong ability to prioritize and problem solve You are an effective communicator with ability to foresee issues and find solutions High attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines within a time-pressured environment Able to train and provide guidance to the team of Drivers Why you will love working with us ELGAS operates the largest LPG transport fleet in Australia through Select Logistics and Transport which are all part of the Linde family.
