We are the world’s largest market research company and are currently looking for a project manager experienced in Online Operations – programming, data analysis and visualisation to join our Pacific Consumer Insights Operations team. The role could be based in ourMelbourne (St Kilda)office, or ourSydney (North Ryde) office, depending on the right candidate, but will be working with many teams across Pacific so the work is varied and interesting.

Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
Proven experience in project managing market research projects, including programming and data analysis skills
Your strong communication skills and the ability to tell a story will be just as critical as your analytical experience.
You will ideally have 6+ years of relevant experience with data management/analytics, reporting and visualisation design techniques for data analysis and presentation, using tools such as Tableau.
You'll be comfortable working at pace with a high attention to detail across multiple projects at once
A quantitative degree and/or equivalent experience e.g. Finance, Statistics, Econometrics, Business Analytics, Analytics, Mathematics
Exposure to and experience of various programming, automation and analytical languages including VBA, JavaScript, R, HTML, Python etc.
Strong Excel skills, and competency with Google’s Suite of business apps
An interest in the way an organisation operates, and like using mathematical and analytical techniques to help it to develop better services, products, business practices and systems
An ability to communicate complex data simply
Ability to take initiative, plan work and meet deadlines in an agile work environment.
A creative problem solver, not afraid to dive deep and ask why.
A high level of attention to detail and accuracy in the work that is undertaken.
Excellent grasp of the English language
A curious and open mind

Key Responsibilities:
Effectively project manages and co-ordinate Consumer Insights projects from supporting proposal and costings through programming, setup, field, analysis and dashboard to final deliverable. Working in conjunction with Client Service, Pacific CI Operations Lead, external vendors and other operations team members, and in accordance with agreed time frames, budget, procedures and instructions received.
Work as a close partner (co-pilot) to the Client Service teams to ensure client’s needs are met. Provide practical hands on support to the Client Service team to drive the excellence through the development and delivery of our existing quantitative research projects
Participate in or drive continuous process improvement initiatives. Actively seeking and raising areas where improvements or productivity gains could be made.
Ensuring that all the project work is delivered on both "right" and "on time" to clients

The role:
Full time 37.5 hours per week
