An opportunity has arisen for a Maternity Leave replacement position. This temporary role will include a long runway working next to the Operations Manager prior to her taking leave.Key responsibilities of the Position include, but are not limited to:Main contact for responding to all Companyhire enquiries including all phone, email and web-based rate enquiries, ensuring as much information as possible is gathered.Ensure exceptional customer service and support throughout the rental process.Hire contract administration, assisting with administrative requirements of contracts, working with the team to ensure all compliance paperwork is completed.Manage pricing response to client enquiries along with other key staff members.Maintain productive working relationships with OEM's, suppliers and subcontractors.Liaising with Plant team and overseeing maintenance and service programs to ensure requirements are conducted and recorded in a timely manner.Ordering of items required by the Plant team and coordinating its delivery to sites and depots.Assist new employees with the onboarding process, ensuring all paperwork is received, completed correctly and passed on to the Payroll Officer in a timely manner.Management of employee travel and accommodation requirements.Assist with the research of upcoming and ongoing job prospect opportunities for the organisation.Assist with tender submissions.Maintenance of relevant Company Registers.Record and disseminate the minutes of the weekly Operations Meeting and contribute to the meeting as an attendee.Provide administration support to head office staff as directed.Assist with scanning & filing of documentation as required.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, company policies, and safety standards.Promote and uphold a culture of safety and adherence to industry best practices.The CompanyEA Hire Equipment is a private, family owned and operated company established in 1999 to supply the civil construction industry with a comprehensive range of excavators available on wet or dry hire and has grown and expanded over the last 25 years. Although the majority of the business consists of dry hire, for specialist services EA Hire Equipment can provide operators to meet these requirements. Over the years, EA Hire Equipment has built a strong reputation in supplying the latest machinery available and providing teams of highly skilled operators and Rapid Response Service Teams to deliver specialist services to a very high standard.The CandidateProven experience in the earthmoving, rental, construction, industrial, logistics or a related field.Demonstrated experience in leadership or supervisory roles.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Experience in building and maintaining customer relationships.Desire to achieve results and find solutions, combined with a high degree of initiative.Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and industry trends, adjusting operational strategies as needed.Excellent analytical skills with a high level of organization and attention to detail.Proficiency in MS Office suite, with intermediate skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook.The OfferWe are committed to providing a supportive and engaging work environment for our employees.
