Our reputation for excellence and client satisfaction has driven us to expand our operations across Australia, with 83% of our business coming from repeat clients.We are now looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our growing team in Victoria and play a key role in managing and overseeing all commercial aspects of our projects within the state.Reporting to the Group General Manager, the Operations Manager leads and manages HSEQ systems, HR, marketing, office operations, cultural development, and business development, ensuring all activities align with the company's strategic goals and integrated management system.Responsibilities but not limited to: Partner with the Group General Manager to drive the successful implementation of the strategic and annual business plans. Lead and promote Infinity's vision, mission, and values (Four Pillars) to establish a strong, unified company culture. Work closely with the Group and Melbourne Construction Directors to ensure seamless coordination across all operations. Oversee Project Managers to ensure timely, accurate project reports are submitted as part of monthly reviews. Ensure adherence to operational systems and safety standards in collaboration with the HSEQ Systems Manager. Collaborate with the Talent and Culture Manager to foster a positive and high-performing workplace as well as work alongside the Marketing Manager to support business growth and visibility. Assist in business development efforts and maintain strong relationships with clients to generate repeat business. Support the project team in all aspects of contract management, financial reporting, and forecasting. Contribute to achieving company KPIs and oversee staff performance management. Requirements: Minimum 15 years' construction experience in commercial construction. Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent. Strong skills in contract negotiation, budgeting, cost control, financial reporting, and risk management. Ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams, manage subcontractors, and resolve conflicts while ensuring project objectives are met. In-depth understanding of local construction regulations, building codes, permits, and sustainability practices. Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships with clients, senior management, and project teams, with proficiency in project management software. Ability to manage challenges and risks effectively, making quick decisions to keep projects on track and within budget.
