Their portfolio is currently valued at around $2 billion, with a development pipeline of an additional $2 billion.Job Summary :This newly created position is designed to develop and manage systems related to risk management, governance, and compliance.The role includes the oversight of business risk assessments, legislative compliance, and key projects.A strong background in risk management, governance, and prior operational experience is essential.Key Responsibilities :Risk Management : Establish, assess, and manage risk across the organisation, ensuring risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated.Compliance : Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations, especially related to financial services licences.Develop policies, conduct audits, and maintain adherence to regulatory obligations.Project Management : Oversee projects like trustee transition and process improvements, ensuring structured timelines and successful outcomes.Insurance : Manage the organisation's insurance portfolio, liaising with brokers and ensuring policies align with operational needs.Policy & Procedure Enhancement : Lead updates and improvements in organisational policies and provide staff training to ensure compliance and risk awareness.Qualifications :Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Business, Economics, or related fields.3 - 6 years of experience in operational risk management, compliance, or similar roles.Strong understanding of industry regulations, including financial services license compliance.Skills :Proficient in creating and enhancing policies and procedures.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.The role demands a proactive approach to compliance and governance, ensuring that the organisation meets regulatory standards while also contributing to broader business projects.
