Operations Analyst - Private Equity - ModellingOur client, a leading private equity firm, is seeking a talented Operations Analyst to join their dynamic team. As an Operations Analyst, you will be a key player, bridging the gap between the private equity firm and its portfolio companies. This role offers the opportunity to drive operational performance, support investment evaluations, and contribute to long-term strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct market research, industry analysis, and economic evaluation to identify growth opportunities for portfolio companies.Build and maintain financial models to forecast company performance and assess ROI.Assist in operational due diligence for potential investments, evaluating strategy, operations, and compliance.Track and report on the performance of portfolio companies, preparing detailed reports for stakeholders.Lead and support projects aimed at improving company operations, driving efficiencies, and optimizing processes.Collaborate with portfolio company management to implement strategic initiatives and performance improvements.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related field.2-3 years of experience in private equity, consulting, M&A, or operations.Strong financial modelling and quantitative analysis skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Experience with Power BI and Modano is a plus.Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all organizational levels.Experience presenting to internal teams, clients, and boards is highly desirable.This is a rare opportunity to work with an experienced industry leader within the Private Equity space.
