Hybrid set-up based in Canberra, Brisbane, and Melbourne
Fujitsu is seeking an experienced OpenStack Engineer to join our team. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure based on the OpenStack cloud computing platform. You will be responsible for building and managing private cloud infrastructure while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.
Responsibilities
Build and implement Private Cloud infrastructure solutions, including compute, storage, and networking components.Troubleshoot and resolve issues with private cloud infrastructure and services.Automate infrastructure deployment and management using tools like Ansible and Satellite.Develop and maintain custom scripts and tools to streamline operational tasks.Perform capacity planning and performance tuning for private cloud-based infrastructure.Collaborate with teams such as OpenShift, Data Centre Facilities Management, and Application Monitoring teams.Provide technical guidance and support to others.
Mandatory Requirements
Experience in Linux administration.Hands-on experience with OpenStack.NV1 Security Clearance (essential).Experience in designing and managing private cloud infrastructure.
Highly Desirable
Experience with Red Hat Ansible.Experience with Red Hat Satellite.Proficiency in Python.Familiarity with Software-Defined Networking (SDN).Knowledge of Ceph Storage (Object Storage and Block Storage).Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
