This job offer is not available in your country.Surveying (Mining, Resources & Energy)Full timeGenesis Minerals have a rewarding opportunity for an Open Pit Senior Surveyor to join our Mining Team.PURPOSEOversee the survey function and small team of surveyors at the open pit mining operations.PRIMARY DUTIESManagement of Open Pit surveying activities to ensure production targets are met.Review, update and manage all survey practices and procedures.Maintain accurate and up to date mine survey records and manage end of month reporting, contract physical calculation associate reconciliations.Manage the performance of the contracted survey services provider.Lead and mentor the survey team of all facets of Open Pit Mining Operations.Assist the mining manager with the preparation of the survey capital expenditure and operation budget.Statutory submission of mine survey records.Ensure that mine survey control is maintained and conforms to the Mine Survey Code of Practice.Install and manage the slope stability monitoring system and distribute data.ABOUT YOUTertiary Qualification in Mine Surveying.Authorised Mine Surveyor Certificate.Leadership and mentoring qualities.Proficiency with mine planning software (Deswik preferred) and Microsoft Office software.Does this sound like you?
