About the Role: The Officer, International Prospective Student Enquiries is the first point of contact for international prospective students and the general public, providing information about courses, recruitment events, and enrolments.
This includes inbound phone, email, live chat, and outbound consultations, in order to nurture and convert those leads into Deakin students.
The role also includes liaising with faculty representatives and following up with both faculties and prospects to ensure all enquiries have been resolved.
A particularly strong focus of this role is to build the International Future Students database and accurately record international prospective student contact details, study interests, as well as the outcomes of the enquiry in the Salesforce CRM.
Proficiency in one of the following languages is desirable but not essential: Vietnamese, Bahasa Indonesia, or Mandarin.
As an Officer in the International Prospective Student Enquiries team, you will: Deliver a high standard of accurate, tailored, high-quality course information to international prospective students in response to phone, email, online, and live chat enquiries whilst adhering to current privacy legislation and university policies.Ensure all inbound and outbound enquiries are recorded, reported, and resolved in a timely manner.Achieve set targets in regards to data collection, call success and attempt rate, lead generation, and conversion.Monitor course applications and conduct follow-up campaigns where required.Consult with appropriate sources to gather relevant information and seek the expertise and advice of other people as appropriate.To be successful, you'll have: Completion of a Degree without subsequent relevant work experience; orCompletion of an Associate Diploma and at least two years subsequent relevant work experience; orAn equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.Experience in both sales and customer service provision, including high-level interpersonal skills, the ability to master content knowledge across a broad range of course and policy areas, and the ability to respond to people confidently, positively, and with respect while maintaining confidentiality when required.Experience in international education desirable but not essential.Experience in operating in a high-pressure diverse environment, involving face-to-face, phone, and written enquiries (preferably in a large organization).Here's how to apply: Please submit your updated resume and a short cover letter outlining your skills and experience.
