Passionate Occupational Therapist to join Early Childhood Intervention Service (ECIS) team Experienced OT or recent graduate supportive team environment Full-time and part-time positions Competitive salary, laptop, phone and NFP Salary packaging About the role The Occupational Therapist is a member of the early childhood intervention service and works as part of a trans-disciplinary team to deliver high quality services to families and children aged 0-18 years. This includes providing key worker support to families and children, delivering a broad range of evidence-informed intervention strategies, standardized assessments, and parent training to increase communication and active participation in social and educational settings for children.

About you As the OT, you will undertake face-to-face consultations and relationship building in natural environments, schools, and kindergartens, as well as on-site at VMCH modern facilities and therapy space. You will liaise and collaborate with a transdisciplinary team to design and deliver comprehensive support plans that allow participants to reach their goals.

Skills & experience A relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy and relevant registration Experience and/or a willingness to learn in paediatric Occupational Therapy assessment and service delivery Ability to provide effective consultative skills that facilitate change through the use of reflective and strength-based practice An understanding of the Key Worker model Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders Ability to coach other transdisciplinary team members in areas of expertise A current Victorian driver's license A current Working with Children Check If you're a creative problem solver who is motivated by their contribution in actively working with people to build their capacity and reach set goals, you should Apply Now!
