About the role:

As the qualified Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing focused home-based services for older clientele (65+) with a variety of health conditions, accessing services through their Home Care Package (HCP).
Our service focuses on clients' strengths, is goal-directed and aims to maximise independence and autonomy so clients can remain living independently in the community. Our Occupational Therapy team is a large and supportive team with regular team meetings, one-to-one clinical supervision and support from the Clinical lead of Occupational Therapy.
The ideal candidate will be customer focused, reliable and adaptable, motivated and committed to the provision of customer centred care, and have the capacity to work well autonomously and in a team environment.

We are looking for individuals with:
Recognised tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
Current registration with AHPRA
Demonstrated knowledge of clinical practice with a variety of health conditions in 65+ year old clientele
Experience working in the Community Aged Care sector with clients receiving services through their Home Care Package (Desirable)
Experience completing Home safety assessments and Home modification/equipment recommendations (Desirable)
Have full Australian working rights and are able to pass a national police clearance
Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one-to-one interactions
Are committed to being part of a workplace culture based on the BEST way of life (Believe, Excel, Support and Trust)

A current Working With Children Check card / Vulnerable People card
Current and ongoing flu vaccinations
Australian working rights
