Occupational Therapist

Heartland OT is a small family owned company located in Charters Towers, North Queensland. We Provide quality Occupational Therapy Assessments, interventions and Reports for children aged 3 - 18 years. Primarily for children with disorders including ASD and impairments/ delays, using strengths based and play focused therapies. Role includes a mixture of clinic based and school and day care visits.Opportunities to further expand our Paediatric caseload, build partnerships within the community and expand our reach, will be the short to medium term Goals of this role.6 - 12 month contract with view to offer permanent role at end of either period to suitable applicant. Experience in Paediatrics or a general OT caseload is highly desirable but not essential. The preferred applicant will be friendly, flexible, enthusiastic and approachable.Generous PD opportunities and weekly 1:1 clinical mentorship and supervision are included, along with administrative and OT assistant support so that you can focus on being a clinician.The employment package will be above the industry award for Health Professional and Support Services (MA000027) to commence at PayPoint 4.2 for a new graduate $40.57 with free furnished accommodation available as part of the package along with internet and electricity.
