Occupational Therapist

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our team in our Ballina or Casino clinic and servicing the surrounding Northern Rivers region. About Optimum:
We are a team of 80+ allied health professionals servicing the Northern Rivers region from our Ballina clinic and 5 more clinics in Northern NSW and Southern QLD. This role will also routinely see clients in the Northern Rivers region.
Our team consists of Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Exercise Physiology.
Things you will be doing: Deliver NDIS servicesTypes of referrals: Paediatrics, Neurological disorders, Physical disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, spinal cord injuriesDelivering paediatric therapy in our purpose-built therapy room in the Ballina clinic.Functional assessments and reportsAssistive technology assessment and reportsOngoing therapy for capacity building for daily activitiesCognitive assessmentsPaediatric Therapy ServicesDelivering in-home services through a variety of community aged care programs, including:Home modificationsEquipment and adaptive aids prescriptionPressure injury risk assessment and reportingFunctional assessments and reportsSkills needed: Hold an Occupational Therapy degreeAbility to build rapport with our clients and teamStrong organisation and communication skillsValid driver's licencePreferred: Experience in NDISThe benefits: Permanent (full time) or part time position (3 days per week minimum)Clinic in Ballina to work from with a multi-disciplinary team and office space.Work with and collaborate with experienced Physiotherapists and Exercise PhysiologistsPD opportunitiesCompany cars available for work-related travel.Apply now to: ****** or call Dane on 0423 267 *** to have a chat about this role.
