In the role, you will participate in a 12 month program designed to provide opportunities to assist you with the transition from student to clinician. Daily clinical supervision will be provided by a Senior Occupational Therapist. Ample opportunities to shadow your supervising Occupational Therapist will assist you to settle into the role and grow your clinical skills and experience. In the role, the applicant will:Work with children who have challenges with gross, fine motor, perception, self- care and sensory issues to reach their full potential. Develop therapy plans to support children to achieve their goals in consultation with a senior occupational therapist.Learn to administer a range of standardised paediatric assessments.Write progress notes.Write clinical reports with support from senior occupational therapists.
