NSLHD Vaccination Operations Centre is looking for a suitably qualified Registered Nurse to lead the team as Nurse Unit Manager Where you'll be working The Nurse Unit Manager will be supported by a Nurse Manager and Clinical Nurse Educators in the daily operations of the centre including NSLHD Hub location and will oversee a team of Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing, together with the Administrative team. The role is Temporary Full Time. Temporary contracts are until the 30th June 2021, with a view to extend. Employment Type: Temporary Full Time Position Classification: Nurse Unit Manager Level 2 Remuneration: 118419.26 - 118419.26 pa Hours Per Week: 38 Requisition ID: REQ210030 Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them. Registered Nurse-Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) and be an Authorised Nurse Immuniser recognised by NSW Health, with relevant management tertiary qualifications, equivalent work experience or a combination of study and work experience. Demonstrated commitment to professional development. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and support a clinical team. Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy in Microsoft applications, roster management and electronic medical records. Demonstrated knowledge andor experience in change management and initiating a new service delivery model within an established service. Evidence of and commitment to patientcustomer focussed care, clinical governance and quality improvement.
