Redcliffe HospitalProvide nursing care at an advanced scope of clinical practice including expanded skills and knowledge in assessment, care planning and implementation, diagnoses, and evaluation of nursing care for a cohort of consumer/persons in the specialty area of palliative care for the Medicine Service Line, Redcliffe Hospital.

About the Role
Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Schedule , Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health Award) () – Generic Level Statements (GLS) Nurse Grade and the Queensland Health and Metro North HHS commitments and values, in achievement of the organisational goals and Domains of Practice.

Demonstrate autonomy, accountability and competence for expanded practice in providing client-focused care within a nursing model including advanced health assessment of consumer's/person's clinical condition, development, and implementation of appropriately documented management plan.

Provide specialist nursing interventions that demonstrate an expanded level of nursing knowledge and skills in the practice area of palliative and supportive care.

Provide advanced clinical support and leadership through evidence-based practice and professional development, service planning and delivery, and quality initiatives.

Evaluate service outcomes with specific indicators and benchmarking, and apply appropriate change management strategies as required.
