Nurse/Midwife Clinical Specialist – Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Professional 2 (Remuneration Package $106,109 - $126,196) Nurse Level 4 (Remuneration Package $140,738 - $151,076) Mental Health Services, Big Rivers Region Katherine Several vacancies are available, either ongoing or fixed for 18 months.
Selection will be made at the P2 or N4 level depending on the experience/qualifications of the successful applicant.
Katherine Mental Health & Alcohol and Other Drugs Service are looking for a Specialist Mental Health Worker, Psychologist, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker to join our small community Mental Health Team based in Katherine.
The role will engage in the provision of mental health/AOD triage assessment, treatment and referral of clients in the Katherine Hospital Emergency Department primarily in an after-hours capacity.
The Katherine region offers a multitude of outdoor, camping, fishing, four-wheel driving, hiking, and mountain biking activities.
It is close to Kakadu and Litchfield National Parks, Katherine Gorge, and in relatively close proximity to other places such as the Kimberley, Gregory National Park, Mataranka hot springs, the Red Centre, and countless other bush camping sites.
While offering these natural wonders, it is also only a 3 hour drive up the fully-sealed Stuart highway to the city of Darwin, which provides ample shopping and restaurant opportunities.
