We are seeking a talented and dynamic Senior Geologist - Operations to join our team. This is a residential position at Kanowna Belle, with a 5/2, 4/3 (10-hour) days roster. The focus is on leading and coordinating our Operational Geology Team, ensuring we deliver the best results from our stellar orebodies through geological understanding, continuous improvement, and teamwork.
To thrive in this role, you'll need: A tertiary qualification (minimum degree level) in geology. Extensive experience as a geologist in the resource industry, preferably within a gold mining operation. Experience with mining and geology software packages such as Datamine, Leapfrog and Acquire. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in sampling, Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QAQC), block modelling, advanced grade estimation techniques, and reconciliation. Leadership experience, positively leading a team, and Contractor Management (analytical assay and drilling). Excellent report writing and presentation skills. Must reside in the Goldfields region, or willing to relocate for our residential world-class ore body. Current Unencumbered Western Australian "C" Class Manual Drivers Licence.
