NOTE – This role is a shift role, within a 24x7x365 roster, which includes Help Desk support for Telstra customers.

Key Accountabilities Include: Maintaining high availability and performance service levels within technically complex environments. Work effectively as a leader, technology specialist or project operative to produce agreed business outcomes. Detect and respond to customer impacting events. Proactively identify and drive resolution of Network at Risk events. Communicate with Stakeholders, support groups, DevOps and Incident Management teams. Monitor alarms and manage incidents end2end (from creation to resolution). Manage changes and organise hardware replacement activities. About You Essential Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in Service Operations. High level of problem solving and analytical skill. Self-motivated and willing to own and solve issues. Well-developed written and oral communications skills. Demonstrated capacity to work harmoniously and to establish effective work relationships. Good personal tact, discretion, judgement and interpersonal skills are essential. Willingness to work on-call or outside of normal hours for operational reasons. Highly Desirable Networking certifications. Network IP routing and protocol knowledge. Desirable Practical experience in negotiating and in making presentations. Relevant Unix, LINUX or Windows certification(s) if possible. A good understanding of the ITIL framework if possible.
