As a result, we are on the lookout for a Firewall/ Network Security Specialist - Checkpoint.
This will be an initial 2-month contract with extensions likely once proven.The successful candidates need to have extensive experience with Checkpoint firewalls.Responsibilities:Strong security firewall provisioning skills and experience with Checkpoint security firewallsUnderstanding of Datacentre Network infrastructureExperience with Migrations and creating Migration plansPremium customer service skillsPremium analytical skillsSolid technical skillsSolid security processes, procedures and policies knowledgeCertifications:Checkpoint and Cisco certifications (CCSE, CCSA, CCNP, CCNP Security) desirableITIL certification is a plus.Technical Skills (Must have):Check Point Multi-domain Manager, Smart Dash Board, SmartView Monitor, SmartView Tracker;Other skills:Qualification in Engineering, Computer Science or ITProficient with Microsoft Office applicationsStrong communications skills, both written and verbal, including a personable and professional demeanorTroubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work autonomously or collaborativelyAble to adapt to changing situationsAvailable to start immediatelyPlease contact David on 0422 229 220 for a confidential discussion.
