Network Security Engineer | Brisbane, Au

Key client seeking a Network Security Engineer for a uplift project to EOFY + Possible Extension.
Your new company
Hays Technology is currently partnered with an enterprise level organisation located in Brisbane to appoint a Security Engineer with a broad range of technical experience to join their Security team on an initial contract to EOFY 2025 with the scope for extension.
Your new role
As Senior Security Engineer, you will provide development and support to the organisation's Network Security platforms including PKI, Firewalls, Load balancers, Proxy services, Endpoint Protection, and Encryption. This role will be heavily focused on PKI and Zscaler as the project involves a major PKI uplift.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll have at least 5 years experience as a Network Security Engineer in a large enterprise environment.
You'll have experience with:
Firewalls (preferably Next Gen) and Web Application Firewall
Public Key Infrastructure
SSL
Routing and Switching (Cisco)
Proxy Services (Cloud Based)
AWS, Azure (VPN, NSG)
Public Cloud Peering
VMware (NSX highly desirable)
Due to the requirements of this role, a criminal history check will be required to be successful.
