National Trade Activation Manager (12 month contract) The Opportunity Nestlé Purina has an exciting opportunity for a National Trade Activation Manager to join our team and take the lead in developing the Go-To-Market Trade Activation strategy.
Reporting to the Head of Market Development Organisation (MDO), you will lead and own the development and execution of Activation plans across both Grocery and Pet Specialty. Additionally, you will be at the forefront of managing relationships with key shopper marketing stakeholders within our customer base, fostering a strong and integrated partnership.
This role also involves effectively managing Activation spend and tracking spend in line with business requirements. Furthermore, you will lead a team of three direct reports, ensuring effective management, coaching, and development.
A day in the Life… Take ownership and lead the development of the Trade Activation strategy for the business. Establish strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders. Oversee the implementation of shopper conversion strategies, ensuring flawless execution and thorough pre and post evaluation of activities. Track financials and provide reporting for consumer or shopper activations. Act as the internal expert for Shopper and Trade Activation, capturing best-in-class examples locally and globally to enhance go-to-market strategies for NPPA. Conduct regular in-store visits, engage with the field team, and provide campaign reporting on redemptions, Point-Of-Sales usage, and samples. Ensure adherence to all company principles and policies. What will make you successful: Degree qualified with 2-3 years of experience in FMCG Sales and/or Marketing or Agency. Operational and/or Field experience is considered a bonus and understanding of the industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead, mentor and motivate a team. Ability to build great working relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally. Eye for detail and financial tracking.
