An exciting role is now available for a National Sales Manager to join our team. Reporting into our Sales Director, you will be responsible for delivering excellence across our Independent Channel as well as our major Department Store Accounts, David Jones & Myer. This role is key in the management and mentoring of our National Business Development team across Australia. This role is based from our Head Office in Rydalmere and is a permanent full-time position.
What you'll do:
Priorities coaching and manage our BDM's to have the greatest overall impact on business results
Positively impact the performance of individual BDM's by implementing and managing field support tools, including training programs, productivity initiatives, account and territory planning, and customer communication tools
Direct and support the consistent implementation of marketing initiatives
Work with Marketing to ensure market-level strategic and business objectives are met by the sales team and actioned in each channel
Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer requirements and satisfaction by engaging key customer accounts in conjunction with the BDM's
Manage major accounts including Myer and David Jones across Australia
Develop timely and accurate forecasts for all channels
Work closely with Sales Director to accurately forecast limited edition and core stock levels
Provide a management-level point of contact for key independent customers
Meet assigned national budgets and strategic objectives
Jointly responsible (with Sales Director) for marketing investment and ROI in the independent market and with our major customers
Provide feedback to Sales Director and Marketing Team on trade marketing requirements
Effectively allocate marketing tools and the marketing investment within the independent and key account channels
Communicate approved retail activities, promotional plans, merchandising and new products with Sales team and retail channels to ensure flawless retail execution
Manage execution of Trade agreements / contracts
Ensure stock ranging and merchandising is in accordance with our Sapphire guidelines
Conduct biannual Strategy meetings with all major accounts
Who you are:
Minimum six years' sales management experience in a business to business environment in addition to proven sales experience in a field sales environment.
Professional or Tertiary qualified
Computer literate and competent in Microsoft Office, Outlook and Microsoft Teams
Excellent communication skills (listening, written and verbal)
Effective time manager
Flexible team player
Confident and well-developed interpersonal skills
Ability to travel interstate on a regular basis
Strong planning, analytical and organizational skills
Possess current state driver's licence
