The jobThe Sales lifecycle at O'Brien Energy is a consultative process and contributions and support come from all areas of the business starting with the Directors through to Managers and our specialists.
You will support our clients and your colleagues to help them understand how we can assist them in achieving improved efficiency, productivity and environmental outcomes that are great for their business and the wider community.
You will also work closely with your colleagues in Projects, Engineering, Service & Maintenance, Energy Efficiency Consulting, and Finance to:
Drive methodical and structured Sales process.Manage and contribute to proposals and pricing.Continuously improve our sales management standards, practices, and principles.Monitor and analyse market trends and develop effective strategies for these.Build and maintain long-term mutually beneficial relationships with our clients.We want someone who likes to make a difference and is passionate about consultative solution sales.
You will need to be driven and have initiative and confidence.
Having a go and believing that anything is possible is essential.
To be successful in this position you will need:
B2B Solution Sales experience ideally in an engineering or technical services environment.The willingness to identify and chase new opportunities.The ability to grow and manage existing client accounts.Be accountable for your effort and activity.Qualifications in mechanical engineering or aligned experience will be useful.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Intra and interstate travel with overnight stays on occasion will be required so you will need a valid driver's license.
This position is based in our Parkinson office which has onsite parking and modern facilities.
You will report to our Chief Sale Officer and work closely with the executive leadership team.
