Management - Internal (Human Resources & Recruitment)4WD Supacentre is the home of the much-loved brand Adventure Kings, specialising in outdoor recreation and lifestyle products.
We are a fast-growing customer-centric business that is looking for the next generation of leaders to support our exponential growth and continue pushing the boundaries of what is achievable.We currently operate 30 stores nationally with two already opened and another 5 on target for the remainder of the year.
Our operations also include warehousing, engineering (R&D), customer care centre and commercial sales along with our corporate support functions.With an energised new leadership that is highly motivated to deliver on the key strategic priorities of our business, we have invested heavily in our People & Culture team through expansion, promotion and realignment of roles at a national level to deliver national solutions.Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, you will have the opportunity to make your mark in this new role with full ownership at the P&C Leadership Team level for leading and executing our recruitment strategy and operations on a national scale.In line with aggressive sales, revenue, and growth targets throughout our stores network, you will have direct front-line impact as you collaborate with national and local retail leadership teams to source sales talent for new and existing stores, along with resourcing for seasonal campaigns.
Your scope will also include accountability for filling budgeted roles in our Distribution Centre & Warehouse network together with those across our corporate services and support functions.Opportunities to lead projects including change and transformation in the talent acquisition space at both a strategic and tactical level perspective will be central to your passion for contributing directly to our Employee Value Proposition and experience.
The role also includes accountability for leading, developing and motivating a Recruitment Officer.As part of rewarding and recognising your contribution to delivery on projects, we will be offering an annual STI performance-based bonus to the successful candidate.Some of your core accountabilities and responsibilities:Design, development and execution of an effective recruitment strategy that is aligned to resourcing budgets both our retail, DC, warehousing, supply chain as well as our shared services national support functions.Work closely with the national leadership team to provide reporting, analysis, and actionable insights to align with dynamic operational resourcing needs and requirements of the business.Manage and maintain the recruitment advertising budget while ensuring cost effective strategies are implemented without compromising the quality of hires.Act as a trusted business advisor to your stakeholders to meet recruitment strategies and talent acquisition challenges by providing relevant thought leadership and solutions.Commercial mindset and orientation is imperative as you roll your sleeves up and immerse yourself hands-on to lead priority recruitment for all new store openings and seasonal campaigns across the whole of the hiring and selection process from job posting, screening, interviews, and onboarding.Qualifications and experience:Tertiary degree qualification is essential.Minimum 7 years in high volume talent acquisition role in the retail or services industries with at least a minimum of 3 years in recruitment leadership role accountable at a strategic and operational level.Proven team leader with a track record of success in leading, motivating and developing teams.Proven track record in effectively managing stakeholder relationships.Demonstrable capability in leading projects and change and transformation.Hands on and commercial thought leader.High order interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and resilience.Demonstrable success in designing, leading and implementing projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
