At Diabetes Australia, we are dedicated to improving the lives of the 1.5 million Australians living with diabetes and those at risk.
As we continue our mission, we are seeking a strategic National Manager - Partnerships to lead and grow our corporate partnerships, driving sustainable revenue and fostering impactful relationships.
This role can be located in Sydney (hybrid WFH/office) or Melbourne (remote).

You will develop and manage high-value corporate partnerships, ensuring our partners see significant value in their relationship with Diabetes Australia.
Your role will go beyond just revenue generation—it's about building meaningful, long-term partnerships that align with our mission of reducing the impact of diabetes across the nation.
You will be responsible for driving Diabetes Australia's for-purpose income stream.
You will leverage your commercial acumen and innovative strategies to secure and nurture high-level sponsorships and partnerships, while identifying new opportunities for growth.
This role allows you to explore new markets, develop revenue-generating strategies, to achieve outstanding results.
You'll oversee relationship management, ensuring that all partners receive tailored benefits and excellent service, while delivering on contractual obligations.
This includes driving innovative approaches to retain and grow existing partnerships and ensuring that diversity, equity, and inclusion are central to all initiatives.
You'll also play a key role in annual strategic planning, budgeting, and reporting on the financial and social impact of our partnerships.
About You You are an entrepreneurial and commercially minded leader, with a proven ability to generate significant revenue through strategic partnerships.
Your ability to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders is complemented by your exceptional negotiation and influencing skills.
You bring a strategic mindset, are able to develop long-term plans that align with organisational goals, while remaining agile in a fast-paced environment.
Your approach to partnership development is innovative and results-oriented, and you're excited by the opportunity to work in a for-purpose organisation that makes a real difference in the community.
Key skills and attributes: Strong commercial and financial acumen with a focus on revenue growth.
Proven ability to secure and manage high-value partnerships.
Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and executing long-term plans.
Data-driven decision-maker, able to use insights to guide partnership strategies.
Leadership experience, with a passion for mentoring and developing high-performance teams.
Flexibility to travel and attend events outside of standard business hours.
