About the role
We are currently seeking an Engineering Lead in Signalling and Communications to join our Rail Operations Business Unit. With a strong pipeline of major infrastructure projects, this role presents an exceptional opportunity to be a key player in a dynamic team and innovative culture. Key Responsibilities

Develop and lead the signalling and communications capability within the Rail Operations Technical Function.
Lead the selection process for signalling and communications design consultants for Rail Operations bids and relevant projects across various sectors.
Collaborate closely with bid and project leaders to identify, assess, and manage signalling and communications technical risks, ensuring comprehensive risk mitigation strategies are implemented across all bids and projects.
Oversee and support the signalling and communications engineering solutions for bids and projects including the development of methodologies ensuring technical compliance.
Provide continuous oversight and conduct regular technical health checks on Rail Operations projects to ensure adherence to standards, technical governance and project objectives.

About you

15 years design and/or construction experience in the Rail Sector
Degree in an Engineering Discipline – Signalling and Communications
Experience with delivering and managing multi-disciplinary projects
