The JobCreate high impact, accurate stories across platforms, adhering to ABC Editorial Policies.Break stories of national importance and develop original content that is distinctive and audience-focused.Lead insightful and well-informed coverage of federal politics across platforms, including high-quality live reports, complex Q&As and 'rolling' news coverage.Shape program style and guide high-profile coverage, including innovative and creative content.Produce diverse, nationally relevant stories, engaging with communities.Research, source, and conduct interviews for compelling content.Spearhead editorial initiatives to enhance ABC's profile and audience engagement.Maximize content value through multi-platform adaptation and social media.Develop and maintain a broad network of high-level contacts across government and industry.Assume senior production roles, focus on team leadership, and assist in staff development and assessment.About YouYou will have extensive senior reporting experience with exceptional journalistic skills and sound research and editorial judgment. Your collaborative leadership in team environments will ensure your effectiveness in the role.
