Permanent Full Time LGO Level 3 - $76,923 cash component plus superannuation Portside Museums, Maryborough

What we are looking for:
Experienced individual to support the Senior Museums Coordinator in the day-to-day administration of the Portside Museums to ensure effective and efficient service delivery, and to assist with developing and delivering high quality public programs that engage, educate and inspire the Fraser Coast community.
What you should have to apply:
AQF level 3 or above or previous experience within the arts and cultural sector
Sound understanding of best practice museum standards
Strong written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated advanced computer literacy including Microsoft Office suite and experience producing content for digital marketing contexts.
Strong interpersonal skills including appreciation for cultural diversity and a proven ability to maintain relationships with team members, stakeholders, audience and collaborators.
Demonstrated experience in preparation and delivery of programs and events to engage a diverse range of audience within cultural/arts context.
Ability to work independently, prioritise workload and apply initiative and judgement in resolving problems
C Class Drivers License
What's nice to have:
Tertiary qualifications in museum practice / heritage interpretation or related field;
Cert IV Arts and Cultural Administration or Museum Practice
Lesser formal qualifications combined with previous experience working in a multi-disciplinary museum or cultural heritage environment.
Demonstrated experience and understanding of social media platforms
Graphic design skills and/or experience with Adobe Creative Suite
