We are seeking an experienced full-time motor mechanic with a passion for cars and dedication to providing A-grade service. The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of diagnostics procedures, a thorough understanding of vehicle systems, and a proven track record of good work ethic and punctuality. Broad and vast model knowledge is an absolute must as we work on all makes and models of vehicles.
Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair various makes and models of vehicles including cars and light trucks. Conduct periodic service and maintenance including oil change, safety checks, tyre repairs, and fluid flushing. Perform complex repairs on engines, transmission, and other key vehicle components. Use scan tool to diagnose various electrical faults. Communicate effectively with customers to relay necessary vital information about services provided and repairs required. Maintain and keep a clean and organized workspace ensuring all safety protocols are adhered to. Minimum Requirements: Certificate III and IV in light vehicle mechanical technology. Minimum 2 years on-the-job workplace experience. Broad and vast knowledge of a large range of makes and models, and the ability to diagnose and repair vehicles as required. Ability to work individually or as part of a larger team. Great problem-solving skills and a great attention to detail. A valid full driver's license with the ability to drive manual and automatic vehicles. Good communication skills and a customer-centered attitude.
