Role Overview: As a Motor Mechanic at , you will play a crucial role in ensuring that every vehicle we service meets the highest standards of safety and reliability. You'll be responsible for performing detailed mechanical inspections, diagnosing issues, and carrying out repairs and maintenance work. Your expertise will help our customers drive away with confidence, knowing their vehicle has been meticulously cared for by an experienced professional.
Key Responsibilities:
Repair or replace broken, worn, or dysfunctional parts such as brake pads, wheel bearings etc. and test and reassembles components.Perform basic care and maintenance, including changing oil, giving tune-ups, checking fluid levels, and rotating tires. Test and repair electrical systems such as lighting, instrumentation, ignition, and electronic fuel injection. Dealing with customers on a day-to-day basis and performing duties in a timely and accurate manner.Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a variety of different brands of vehicles in compliance with manufacturer's guidelines and ensure compliance with regulations. Re-lines and adjusts brakes and perform wheel alignments.Test and re-adjust to ensure repairs and maintenance are effective using testing equipment prior to hand over to client. Inspect mechanisms of engine, transmissions, steering, or other components including dismantling and reassembling of engine parts.Provide accurate estimates of cost, time, effort for a repair or maintenance job.Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components such as transmissions, suspensions, steering, brakes etc. to diagnose issues accurately.Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Motor Mechanic is required.A minimum qualification of Certificate III or Certificate IV is required.Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components.Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical issues.Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety.Relevant certifications and qualifications in motor mechanics.Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000 Per Annum Plus Superannuation
