Motor Mechanic - Braybrook VIC - Full Time PositionOzCar Pty Ltd, one of Australia's largest and most innovative used car retailers, is seeking an experienced Motor Mechanic for our Braybrook workshop.
Key Responsibilities: Diagnose faults in motor vehicles.Discuss problems with drivers to discover faults.Dismantle or remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms or other components, and check parts.Repair or replace worn or defective parts, and reassemble mechanical components.Test and adjust repaired sub-assemblies, and re-install them.Tune engines to achieve smoother running and ensure compliance with pollution regulations.Re-line and adjust brakes.Change oil and filters, and lubricate vehicles or fuelled motor appliances.Inspect and service emission control systems and petrol fuel systems.Repair steering systems, suspension systems, and hydraulic braking systems.Carry out service operations and diagnostic procedures.An ideal candidate must have: A good work ethic.Attention to detail.Good interpersonal skills.Desire to learn.At least two years' experience in a similar field.Salary and Employment: Good salary package: $73,500 + Super.
