The opportunity We are seeking a Junior Mobile Maintenance Planner role, in the mining industry, for a 2-month contract in Northern Territory.
This is a site-based role, in rotation.
We are looking for profiles with 1 to 5 years of experience.
This is a fantastic opportunity to build foundational skills in maintenance planning while contributing to the operational success of a leading mining operation.
What the role entails Assisting in Maintenance Scheduling: Support the planning and scheduling of mobile equipment maintenance, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.Data Entry & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment histories, and inventory levels, ensuring all data is up to date and properly documented.Reporting & Analysis Support: Assist in gathering data and preparing basic reports on equipment performance and maintenance activities, highlighting any emerging trends or issues.Communication with Maintenance Teams: Work closely with maintenance supervisors and technicians to coordinate daily maintenance tasks and ensure proper resource allocation.Safety & Compliance Support: Ensure all planned maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with safety regulations and company standards.Continuous Learning: Develop a strong understanding of mobile equipment maintenance practices and actively participate in training and development opportunities.Assist with Process Improvements: Support the identification of areas for improvement in maintenance procedures and contribute ideas for enhancing efficiency and reducing costs.Skills and experience: Relevant qualification1 to 5 years in a similar positionMobile equipment, HME or Ancillary experienceWe are looking for people that are ambitious and able to use their initiative to drive outcomes.
