Mine Planning Engineer

Our client is a well-established gold producer with a number of new assets currently in development across Australia. Due to significant growth plans and a number of assets going into production, they are currently looking for multiple Mine Planning Engineers to join their underground team.
About the opportunity:Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, this is an exciting opportunity for experienced underground Mine Planning Engineers to work in a supportive team environment. The role will be focused on driving short- and medium-term plans to ensure the business meets its production targets.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Updating and maintaining mine planning and design procedures.Producing and delivering mine plans.Reviewing economic evaluations for all completed mine designs.About you:You are a growth-focused, driven professional with a proven ability to think on your feet in an ever-changing environment. This role is ideal for someone that is looking to make it their own and grow with a business that has substantial expansion plans in place, with another two mines in the planning stage currently. The ideal candidate has proven underground hard rock experience, ideally with a WA First Class Mine Managers certificate of competency and substantial Deswik experience.
