This position is residentially based in Mount Isa on a day and night, 7 on 7 off rotating roster. You will also have underground metalliferous mining experience with a strong background in underground Operations. Reporting to the P49 Operations Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for multiple facets and job roles within the Operations team to safely and efficiently achieve the mine plan.Your key responsibilities include:Loader operationsChargingOff-siding frontline Jumbo operatorsDevelopment jumbo operating experience will be highly regardedIdentify potential improvements to work practices and conditionsIdentify potential safety and cost-saving initiativesDeliver personnel and equipment to job sites and return surplus equipment to storesAssist in achieving budgeted P49 Operational team KPIs by performing all job roles that are required within the teamContribute positively to the team environment, operate safely and assist with delivery of production targets within budget.The successful applicants will have:Elphinstone 1700 / 2900 or Sandvik 514 / 517 loader ticket or an equivalent competencyStore handling and transport of Explosives and signed off in development charging or Production Ring firingWorking at heights competency and be competent in operation of at least one type of personnel lifting equipmentGood time management skills and able to work well under pressureDemonstrated ability to work well in a team environmentWillingness and ability to learn new processes and skillsets within the Operations teamHold a current Australian Manual Drivers LicenceApplications Close: 08:00 am, Tuesday 3 December 2024.How to apply:Start your application by clicking the "begin" button.
