Mill Operator

Zoom Recruitment has partnered with Australia's largest sustainable steel manufacturing operator and is currently seeking a mill operator to work in their Acacia Ridge plant.

This role is Monday to Friday working a weekly rotation of day, afternoon, and night shifts with overtime available. You do not need any previous manufacturing experience as all training will be provided to the right person.

You will be trained to safely operate Steel Pipe & Tube manufacturing machinery in a team environment: incl. Overhead Cranes, bundlers, auto strappers, other process stations.

**To be considered for this position you must be able to answer yes to the following**:

- Overhead Gantry Crane usage (highly desirable)
- Current forklift licence (highly desirable)
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Have a strong attention to details
- Be physically fit as some heavy manual labour is required
- 2 checkable work references must be provided.
- Physically fit and healthy with the ability to complete a pre-employment medical.
- Must pass a urine drug/alcohol screen.
- Provide national police clearance.
