The Role
As Microsoft Returns officer you’ll work with our customers to remedy faults or errors and get them back up and running asap. This is a part time role at 25 hours a week – ideal to fit around study or care commitments!
What you’ll do:
Interacting with the client reporting faulty or failure with their purchased Microsoft device or accessories
Inputting of warranty information into the Microsoft Portal and Filemaker (or equivalent system)
Arranging courier services to collect the damage/broken device
Replacement of Microsoft devices or accessories as required
Returning broken devices back to Microsoft
Responsible for the new/replacement or repaired device back to the client
Ensuring information in the required systems meets audit requirements
Process all repairs from the previous day’s courier before collection
Communicate with client as soon any processes are changed or issues arise which may cause delay
Updating daily status of returns to the relevant Account Manager, i.e. MS Repairs, stock levels, items in transit
What you'll bring
This will suit someone with experience in a hardware technical support role who is looking to grow their engineering skills in a fast-paced commercial environment.
You’ll have:
A good understanding of Microsoft services, industry practices and products
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, you need to be interested in technology and be driven to learn about more
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
A need for flexibility, both in relation to working and in meeting the requirements of the position
