How you'll make an impact The role of the Mental Health Team Leader is most integral to the delivery of a high level of quality supports for individuals with complex needs.
You will need to have excellent leadership, decision-making, rapport-building, problem-solving, negotiation, conflict resolution, organisational skills and genuine passion which are critical to the success of the role.
The principal purpose of the role is to ensure that service users are delighted with the service delivery, allocated programs are delivered with a high level of support worker-to-participant engagement, clients are on track to achieve their goals as articulated in their Support Plan or and are in line within clients funding and financial budgets.
About you Ideally you will have proven experience in the disability sector and a good understanding of the NDIS, proven experience supervising people and programs in the Disability sector, strong networking and relationship management skills, an ability to think strategically, sound verbal and written communication skills and an ability to work under pressure.
You will also be required to manage and grow Support Workers on your team, this could involve training, performance management and more.
Essential to the role are a relevant tertiary qualification, drivers license and NDIS worker screening and Working with Children's Check.
